Bio

Kaylee Daugherty is a staple singer of the San Diego jazz scene as well as a budding singer-songwriter. She has had the privilege to play with some of SoCal’s finest accompanists, including Irving Flores, Ed Kornhauser and Mikan Zlatkovich in Socals finest establishments, including Lou Lou’s, Dizzy’s, Seaworld, The Jazz Lounge, the Drake, the USS Midway, the Ritz-Carlton, the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Hotel Del, the Westgate and Pendry Hotel.

With a repertoire of +500 songs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian, and fluent in the styles of Swing, Blues, Bossa Nova, Boleros and Funk, Kaylee undoubtedly has a song for everyone. And with the flexibility of playing solo up to a big band, Kaylee’s group can accommodate and elevate any space.

Kaylee’s favorite part of performing is bringing joy to her audiences. Her music makes kids dance and gives older folk a sigh of nostalgia. Kaylee is personable and interactive with her audiences, and, by inviting them into her musical world, builds a sense of community within each venue.

You can read more about Kaylee in these interviews with SDVoyager here and VoyageLA here and you can hear her lastest EP of originals, Glimmers, here.
